Connect a container image
Argus scans a public container image for misconfigurations and vulnerabilities. No credentials are stored: you give a public image reference and Argus reads it.
Before you start
- A public image reference. Private-registry credentials are not supported yet.
- An available account slot: Free connects one account, Pro connects an unlimited number. See Billing & plans.
Connect in Argus
Go to Accounts and click Connect account. Pick Container image, then the Public image method. Enter:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Image reference | the public image, e.g. nginx:1.27 or ghcr.io/org/app:tag |
No credential is required, so Argus creates the account and moves straight to the scan.
Connection test
Argus registers the image and runs the first scan. The account card reports the outcome. Private-registry authentication is a planned follow-up.
